Yoga and Evening Sound Healing Journeys

From Thursday through Sunday, participants will gather for twice-daily yoga—energizing in the mornings, restorative in the evenings. As part of evening sessions, sound healing is introduced: crystal bowls, chimes, and resonant tones that amplify stillness and support rest.

Sound journeys are one thread in the tapestry of this retreat, complementing yoga, Reiki, meditation, and time in the forest. Together, these practices create a coastal yoga retreat that restores balance and nurtures connection.

Benefits of Sound in Yoga Practice

Sound has long been valued for its capacity to support relaxation and release. Vibrations from bowls and chimes create resonance that encourages the nervous system to slow down. Many participants find that sound deepens restorative yoga, helping the body to let go more fully.

In this yoga and sound baths California experience, sound is not a separate workshop but part of the flow. It enhances what’s already present: breath, stillness, and awareness. The effect is gentle yet profound—another doorway into presence.
