Who This Retreat Is For

Camp Connect is for GBTQ men (24+) who are ready to step out of autopilot and into their bodies. You might feel disconnected from pleasure, stuck in repetitive patterns around sex and intimacy, or simply craving something more intentional than what's available in your day-to-day life. Maybe you've been curious about somatic work, erotic exploration, or men's community but haven't found the right entry point. This retreat meets you where you are — whether you're newer to this kind of exploration or you've been on the path and want to go further. If you value consent, playfulness, vulnerability, and real connection over performance, Camp Connect was made for you.

Retreat Description

Come Back to Camp — This Time, on Your Own Terms

If you could go back in time and do summer camp again as an adult, what would you want it to be like? Court Vox asked himself that question — and the answer became Camp Connect. This is adult summer camp for GBTQ men: a few days away from real life, set among the coastal redwoods of Mendocino, Northern California, where your body gets to rest, play, and learn through pleasure.

The premise is simple. Over five days, you'll move, breathe, rest, laugh, and explore — solo and shared — in ways that are clear, consensual, and grounded. No rushing. No performing. Just presence.

What You'll Explore Through Somatic Practice and Erotic Bodywork

Camp Connect is structured around progressive, experiential workshops that build trust and skill across the retreat. You'll begin with Embodiment Practices that attune you to sensation and presence — learning the art of attention through exercises that connect you to your own body and to others. From there, the work moves into Tantric Connection (eye gazing, sound, breath, and movement with a partner), Sensation Play, and Explorations in Power Dynamics including energy exchange, language, and bondage.

Each session is participatory by invitation — you're always welcome to witness rather than engage directly. Court's facilitation style emphasizes consent, pacing, and grounded presence, so the work never moves faster than the room can hold.

Shadow, Fantasy, and the Erotic Edge

One of the most distinctive elements of Camp Connect is the Fantasy Exploration and Shadow Work programming. Through a framework called Existential Kink, participants are guided to explore their deepest desires by alchemizing shame into creative, erotic energy. This isn't talk therapy — it's embodied, playful, and often surprising. The retreat also includes Group Erotic Practice, where you'll feel into the experience of sharing erotic energy with other conscious men in a structured, consent-forward setting.

These aren't experiences you stumble into. They're carefully facilitated by Court Vox, a Somatic Sex Educator and member of the World Association of Sex Coaches, alongside co-facilitator Bodhi Calagna, a hypnotherapist and sound alchemist who brings ceremony and grounding to the group field.

The Setting: Mendocino's Coastal Redwoods

Between sessions, the property itself becomes part of the experience. River bathing, sauna, pool and hot tub time, campfire circles under the redwoods — Camp Connect uses every element of the 27-acre sanctuary to create a retreat that feels as expansive as it is intimate. Evenings include fireside Men's Circles, a rope demo, and an evening play party — each one optional, each one an invitation to explore at your own pace.

This retreat is for GBTQ men who want more than surface-level connection. It's for men who are ready to lower their guard, be a little awkward, be a little bold, and remember what it feels like to belong without having to prove anything.

This experience is perfect for those searching for: men's intimacy retreat California, GBTQ men retreat Mendocino, somatic sexuality retreat for men, embodiment retreat for men, men's personal growth retreat Northern California, retreat for men exploring sexuality and intimacy, somatic intimacy workshop retreat, camp-style wellness retreat for men California.

About The Retreat Facilitators: Court Vox & Bodhi Calagna

Court Vox is a Somatic Sex Educator, Surrogate Partner Intern, and Sacred Intimate. He is a member of the World Association of Sex Coaches and the founder of The Body Vox. Court works with a broad spectrum of individuals and those in relationships seeking more from their erotic and intimate lives. His facilitation approach emphasizes consent, embodied presence, and playful exploration — creating conditions where participants can access sensation, connection, and pleasure without performance pressure. Camp Connect grew directly out of Court's own desire to reclaim the camp experience as an openly gay, queer man — and to offer that same reclamation to others.

Bodhi Calagna is a hypnotherapist and sound alchemist who blends music, ceremony, and therapeutic modalities to support personal exploration. Through ceremony, hypnotherapy, and ambient sound, Bodhi creates the conditions for self-discovery — inviting courage, joy, and reclamation of one's authentic self.
