  • Most retreats include accommodations, 2-3 meals daily, and all programming. Specific inclusions vary by retreat—check with the retreat organizer for details. Spirit Camp provides the venue and lodging; the retreat facilitator handles programming, meals, and pricing. We're vegetarian and vegan friendly.

  • Most retreats are independently organized by experienced facilitators who rent Spirit Camp as their venue. Spirit Camp provides the physical space, accommodations, and lodging. The retreat organizer handles registration, pricing, programming, meals, and retreat-specific questions. Some retreats are led by Spirit Camp co-founders Julian Cressman and Nathaniel Reagan.

  • Many of our guests are first-time retreat-goers! Most retreats welcome all experience levels. Look for phrases like "all levels welcome" or "no prior experience required" in retreat descriptions. If you're unsure, contact the retreat organizer directly—they're happy to answer questions.

  • Spirit Camp is located in Little River, CA—just 12 minutes from Mendocino town and 1 mile from the Pacific Ocean.

    From San Francisco: 3 hours (140 miles) north via Highway 101

    From San Francisco Airport (SFO): 3.5 hours via Highway 101

    From Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa: 2 hours

    Scenic route: Highway 1 coastal route is longer but beautiful

  • Spirit Camp features private cabins, seasonal glamping tents, and shared accommodations depending on the retreat. Most retreats offer both private and shared options at different price points. Check with your retreat organizer for specific details.

    We have wheelchair-accessible accommodations, bathrooms, and main event spaces with flat gravel pathways. Communal heated bathrooms are steps away from all lodging with private toilets and showers with hot water. No lodging has attached bathrooms.
