Restorative Yoga for Renewal and Connection

Over three nights and four days, participants are guided through a balance of energizing and restorative practices. Mornings often begin with dynamic yoga to awaken the body, while evenings focus on stillness through gentle, prop-supported sessions.

Reiki and sound may be woven into the restorative practices, offering additional layers of calm and balance. These elements are complements—not the defining focus—of a program rooted in yoga, nature, and community connection.

Benefits of Restorative Practice

Restorative yoga is designed to support the body in deep rest. Using props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks, participants hold gentle poses for longer periods, allowing muscles to release and the nervous system to settle.

This style of yoga promotes recovery, reduces stress, and helps cultivate presence. In the retreat setting, restorative practices become an evening ritual—a way to integrate the day’s activities and prepare for restful sleep.

For many, this balance of movement and stillness makes a gentle yoga retreat Northern California especially nourishing.
